A four bedded home in a residential setting in a village location in Leicestershire. The home is supported by a fully qualified and highly trained staff who are constantly identifying training and developmental needs for both staff and the needs of the young people. 

The aim of the home is to facilitate the opportunity for young people to develop and grow in a community based setting. Also give them the chance to identify and use all facilities available in the local community and surrounding areas. The home is decorated to a high standard and young people are invited to assist in the planning for the décor and are invited to personalise their own rooms including choosing colours and furniture. 

We endeavour to support the young people throughout their care and implement life skills training so as to educate and inform. Within this we use budgeting, menu planning, laundry skills etc so as to give a full and varied outlook on life skills and to be able to facilitate the young persons move on in life with maximum support and guidance.  

We promote a very high level of activity based work including life story work using a psychodynamic approach to empower the young people to identify how their history has effected them and to be able to move on in a positive and supportive environment.

We encourage the young people to take ownership of their development and give them the tools and skills to promote this.
